Below is a simple way to pick Base Game traits for your Sim.

I will endeavour to add traits from all the DLC in the future, but I hope you find this helpful for now! You can use the traits or see them as starting points for building your Sim's personality and destiny. After all, this is about your creativity and imagination!

Astrology is quite complex, and as an astrologer, even with my Sims, I apply concepts such as Houses, Planetary Rulerships, Sect Light, etc. In other words, there are 1,728 Rising/Sun/Moon combinations. While I work to pull together these combinations, you can utilize these trait pickers, which are historically, broadly, and stereotypically associated potentially with each zodiac sign.

 

For example, not all Aries hate children, but it is a potential trait for this Mars-ruled Firey Zodiac sign, so maybe your Sim, with their Rising, Sun or Moon in Aries, does hate children. Similarly, not all people with Rising, Sun, or Moon in Taurus are Romantic, but it is a potential trait for this Venus-ruled Earthy Zodiac sign. 

Instructions: First, find the wheel of the Rising Sign and spin the wheel. That is their first trait. Secondly, find the wheel of the Sun Sign, and again, spin the wheel. That is their second trait. And then finally again with the Moon Sign. Spin again if anything doubles up or is incompatible with what previously came up.
